Hello lovely people, and welcome to our little slice of jungle paradise! We are the Mo-Juntaks, a Batak-British family who've been running our trekking company for the past 15 years, providing first class jungle treks and Sumatra tours to our worldwide guests. We aim to provide you with an ethical and educational trek with a little sprinkling of comedy, as a little bit of humour gets you a long way in our hot and humid jungle!

Our guesthouse, Sumatra Expedition Lodge, is found in the traditional village of Gotong Royong, just 5 minutes north of Bukit Lawang tourist centre. We have four rooms available, ranging from 150.000-450.000 p.night, catering to all budgets. We grow our own vegetables and fish on site, served in our in house restaurant.
